GET low energy lamps don't cost the earth!
The UK Government is working with manufacturers to phase out the inefficient incandescent light bulb as part of its target of a 20% cut in carbon emissions by 2010.
GET Plc, a company of Schneider Electric, has a comprehensive range of Low Energy Lamps which can help to reduce electricity costs as well as helping with climate change. The range includes compact fluorescents, miniature fluorescent tubes and energy saving lamps, all designed for applications where a traditional, less efficient lamp would normally be used.
GET Energy Saving Lamps have an average life of 8000 hours and are ideal for applications where the lamp is left on for long periods. They provide the brightness associated with an incandescent bulb of a higher wattage - for example a GET 9W Energy Saving Lamp will provide the same light that you would get from a standard 40W light bulb, again providing valuable energy savings for both your home and the environment.
In addition, GET compact fluorescent lamps provide the same light levels you would expect from a higher wattage incandescent lamp.
T4 & T5 miniature fluorescent tubes provide high energy efficiency for under kitchen cabinet and task lighting. These are perfect for use with the cost effective
and easy to install T4 Mini Battens launched by GET earlier this year.
The range also includes an energy saving pendant which allows installers to comply with Part L of the Building Regulations which states that new build properties must have a fixed proportion of lighting points only suitable for compact fluorescent lamps.
